There are 4 ways through which people gain knowledge in life.
1. Home is the first school- unfortunately parents are the one who propogate caste discrimination to children through rituals, untouchability, eating, marriages etc.
Childrens learn from elders.
2. Our education system and books have no tangible learning information to enlighten about caste atrocity, remove caste system.
3. Religion - the so called hindu religion is based on the caste discrimination.
4. Society- which openly commits caste atrocity and it is not told as a crime for normal routine.
All the above 4 through which people gain knowledge has not imbibed any social understanding in the so called high caste about caste atrocity.
For most, only aim is to only earn money, so once money comes they may think that all needs are satisfied, cos neither theyyou suffer discrimination, atrocity or exclusion. Money is the only criter for them. But for dalits though they earn some money, they still go through this social evil.
Sc/st reservation is not based on economic status but group status. As all dalits suffer from caste discrimination whether economic well off or worse off. Dalits have reservation for protection against discrimination and social oppression which all dalits face either economically well off or worse off. Best example would be the 27,000 atrocity case registered in which more than 40% are done with the well educated dalits- Go to your local sc commision for more info as they dont put it on net.

Striking AIIMS docs live in a glass house -TOI report
The main grouse of AIIMS students - at the forefront of the stir against 27% reservation for OBCs - is that merit is being sacrificed
at the altar of votebank politics. But they forget two things: 25% reservation that AIIMS graduates get in PG admission and the Supreme Court judgment of 2001 that declares the earlier system of 33% reservation for them bad in law.
In fact, the SC, while stating that 33% institutional reservation is "unconstitutional", agreed with the findings of the Delhi High Court, which had earlier set aside the reservation.
The HC had found that "AIIMS students, who had secured as low as 14% or 19% or 22% in the (all-India) entrance examination got admission to PG courses while SC or ST candidates could not secure admission in their 15% or 7% quota in PG courses, in spite of having obtained marks far higher than the in-house candidates of the institute." HC had analysed admission data over five years.
The apex court also agreed with the HC that the "figure of 33% reservation for in-house candidates was statistically so arrived at as to secure 100% reservation for AIIMS students. There were about 40 AIIMS candidates. The PG seats being 120, 33% thereof worked out to be 40." That meant all 40 AIIMS graduates were assured of PG seats.
Merit here was clearly being sacrificed, the study showed. For instance, in the January 1996 session, an AIIMS student with 46.167% marks - lowest for an AIIMS student that year - got PG admission.
However, an SC student with the same grades was admitted but denied coveted course such as obstetrics and gynaecology. The SC student got shunted to community while AIIMS students easily won berths in prestigious disciplines.
Twelve AIIMS candidates were selected even though they got less marks than the SC candidate who secured 60.33% marks. Similarly, 16 AIIMS students got admission to PG courses even though they got less marks than another ST student who got 62.16%.

Apartheid funded by tax payers money
They are forced to sit in separate rows, bring utensils from home or given food in plates marked boldly with permanent ink to distinguish them from the rest.According to a survey on social discrimination conducted by Jansahas, an NGO, and Unicef, in 24 villages across four districts – Ujjain, Sheopur, Katni and Jhabua – in Madhya Pradesh, more than 63 per cent of Dalit children are subjected to caste discrimination while being served mid-day meals in government schools. They are forced to sit in separate rows, bring utensils from home or given food in plates marked boldly with permanent ink to distinguish them from the rest. The Mid-Day Meal Scheme, funded by the government, is the world’s largest school lunch programme and covers 120 million children. Ironically, one of the key objectives of the scheme is to increase socialisation among children of different caste groups.“As many as 40 per cent of Dalit students facing discrimination were given mid-day meals inplates specially set aside for them,” Jansahas activist Ashif Sheikh told Hindustan Times. While some were asked to bring utensils from home, most were served their mid-day meals on leaf plates. Non-Dalits, however, were served on metal plates. The survey found that most teachers were insensitive to the discrimination against Dalits because of caste-based traditions being followed in rural areas, he said.In a majority of the schools surveyed, Dalit students were not allowed to sit in the front row. As many as 78 per cent of school-going Dalit students were backbenchers or forced away from the front row and subjected to casteist abuses. And 79 per cent of such students were compelled to clean the schools. In some schools, this chore was given only to Dalit girls. The survey found that the Anganwadi scheme, a government-sponsored mother and childcare scheme catering to children in the 0-6 age group, also discriminates against Dalits. About 59 per cent of Dalits said they desisted from sending their children to the local anganwadi facilities. The victims claimed that Dalit children were not allowed to enter the anganwadis and were forced to accept nutritional supplements outside the building. The survey concluded that caste discrimination is one of the prominent reasons for the absence of Dalit children from school.

UNTOUCHABLITY EXPLORED FOR BLIND EYES
20TH CENTURY
temple and General Secretary of Scholars
Association of Varanasi tells about Caste
System and Dalits.
reservation for Dalits and the priest continuing what
he has read in Vedas. And not to forget, the youth
wants justice.
was all history right!!!
Shrankacharya telling about what is pure and
what is impure.
castes or rather castes control Power. And
untouchability is not crime but a rule here.
in which society they are living or
just don't want to come out of their
dream world. Some castes mind deny
and do their best to bury the reality.
When I posted this video on the orkut
community named "India" which is the
largest Indian community present on
Orkut or may be on any social website
having more than 8 lakh members.
Firstly the thread was deleted 3 times.
then when convinced one moderator to
let it be, it got good and positive replies
about 100 in just one hour. But next
day other moderator deleted it and i
was removed from the community
quoting these videos cant be verified
by him so they cant allow it. While i
myself argued a lot about other such
threads already present in the community
and positive replies by the members on my
thread and even asked that let people
decide what is right and wrong, but
it was strict No.
But soon I found out the moderator was
member of Anti-reservation protests.
I asked her wether she is against
reservation for untouchables or against
untouchables itself.
She had no reply. This kind of mindset is
inherent in the people of India and that is
why such situation is still there.
I dont know what to expect from a
moderator of such a big online community
but it is clear at the top people are biased
and they want rest of the masses to view,
and think.
